The Kyoto Higashiyama Hanatouro 2016 is coming soon!
Time goes by fast that the event has become a one of the biggest spring festival in Kyoto and when it started, there was no crowed along the event which is now attracting many tourists and has been holding for 14 years.
The walking path that leads to the foothills of Higashiyama Mountain is lighted up by approximately 2500 of lanterns to create a beautiful scenery so that we kindly suggest you to enjoy a different atmosphere of the Kyoto Higashiyama.Near the walking path, there will be a special opening time at temples and shrines as well.

【LOCATION】
The path between the Shorein temple and Kiyomizudera temple.
In the meantime, there are other events that are holding such as Takeakari-Yugennokawa (There is a small river in the Maruyama Park which will be decorated by 500 Bamboo lanterns) and Contemporary Ikebana Exhibits and so on.

So please stay in warm and try to not catch a cold.
We recommend that divided the days as 2-3 are the best way to visit the Kyoto Higashiyama Hanatouro because the event is only held between 6:00 PM~9:30 PM.The path will be crowed at that time then, figure out toilets along the path would be useful.
